Skerries for Schools collaborates with other like-minded organisations that can help us realise our mission. We would welcome discussion with other organisations that could help us expand the range of our Thames Community Rowing offer to disadvantaged adults, reach more schools through our Skerries for Schools offer, or could help us develop new boating centres.
Each partnership is different, as you can see below, but we welcome each and every one of them!
14th Richmond "Viking" Scout Boating Centre kindly provides their facility for meetings and our registered office address.
Reading Sea Cadet Corps allows us to use their base at Blakes Lock to operate from and they make great use of our boat based there.
Richmond Bridge Boat Club are kind enough to share their boat arch to support our Richmond base operations.
Richmond Bridge Boathouses, through Mark Edwards and his team, has built all of our boats and conducts the annual maintenance work. They often go the extra mile for us and regularly 'lend a helping hand'.
St. Philip's School supports us with our boat Caroline and operate regularly with her from our Thames Ditton base.
If you would like to discuss partnering with Skerries for Schools please contact us through the Enquiry form below.
